In the ongoing 2nd T20I match between West Indies and India at the Providence Stadium, Guyana, Tilak Varma went on to score his maiden fifty in international cricket. The 20-year-old talented youngster in his second international game  smashed 51 runs from just 41 balls  and wrote his name in the record books.

Tilak Varma helped India to post a competitive score of 152/7 in this game. Among other Indian batters, only Ishan Kishan (27) and Hardik Pandya (24) managed to cross the 20-run mark while remaining batters like Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, and Sanju Samson got dismissed for a single-digit score.

Tilak Varma is the second youngest batsman to score a fifty for India in the men's T20I. Notably, Tilak Varma has scored 90 runs in the first two games of his career (39 & 51 runs).
