Indian cricketer Krunal Pandya is currently leading team Baroda in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He will also be seen donning the red and gold jersey soon as he has been picked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for INR 5.75 Crore for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025. However, many fans anticipated that the all-rounder has also worked in 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', that hit the theatres on December 5.

After three years of the success of its first part, 'The Rise', Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandhana starrer Pushpa is now back again with its second part and got a great response from the fans in the first week of its release. However, there was a scene in the movie, where an actor appeared, who looked just like Krunal Pandya at first. However, in reality, he was Tarak Ponnappa, who is an renowned actor in the South Indian film industry. 

Who is Tarak Ponnappa?

Tarak Ponnappa is a renowned Indian actor who has worked in several Telugu and Kannada films. He made his debut as a lead actor in a Kannada film Ajaramara in 2017. Ponnappa was also a part of some iconic movies like KGF and Devara Chapter 1. Apart from that, he has also worked in several movies like Yuvarathnaa, Kotigobba 3, CSI Sanatan, Razakar: The Silent Genocide of Hyderabad, Krishnamma and many more and is now seen again in Pushpa 2: The Rule. 

However, Tarak Ponnappa isn’t the only actor whom the fans compare with Krunal Pandya on the basis of looks. A large group of fans believe that Pandya resembles the popular Indian actor Ajay Devgn. Krunal Pandya has also accepted that his face resembles Ajay Devgn and also revealed he is his favourite actor.
