In match number 61 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Lucknow Super Ginats (LSG) are hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. However, both teams are coming off a similar result, but the Rishabh Pant-led side will be fighting to get a win in order to keep their playoffs contention still alive.

As the two skippers walked out for the toss in match 61, it was the visiting skipper, Pat Cummins, who won the toss and decided to bowl first. His decision came seeing the unusual wicket that the tournament has offered this season. “I will have a bowl, you never know quite to make of the wicket so it's better to chase,” he said at the toss.

Jaydev Unadkat misses out due to personal reasons; Travis Head also sits out

When inquired of the team combination, Cummins confirmed that a few injuries have forced them to make changes in their XI. The Aussie skipper also added that Travis Head misses out as he joined the side today (May 19) after arriving late due to COVID-19, Jaydev Unadkat also sits out due to personal reasons. In their place, SRH have handed debut to Harsh Dubey and Atharva Taide will walk out as impact sub.

Moreover, LSG have also called for a change in their XI as William O’Rourke has been handed his debut cap.
