The ongoing season of PSL 2022 has been quite an entertaining one so far. From some brilliant knocks to some sensational bowling, it's been an action-packed few days of cricket. However, there has been no shortage of drama as well. There have been some unbelievable moments in the season and fans got to witness one of them on Sunday.

During Match 14 between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings, Babar Azam did something extremely outrageous, but not with the bat! Instead, he showed his magic on the field with an unbelievable effort. It all happened during the final stages of first innings when Asif Ali tried to play a lofted shot over cover region off the bowling of Usman Shinwari.

The batsman mistimed his shot which gave an opportunity to Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam to think of attempting a catch. He was running backwards and the ball was going away from him and it looked like it was just fall a few inches away from the reach of Babar. But this is when something extra-ordinary happened!

The 27-year-old, who was wearing the sweater of bowler Usman, wanted to gift a wicket to him. Out of nowhere, Babar stretched his right hand and the ball fell straight into his palms. The commentators could not believe what they had just seen. Even the smile on Babar's face suggested that he was also in disbelief of his heroic effort as Asif Ali had to unfortunately walk back to pavilion.

Babar ended up taking 3 catches in the match in what was a classy display of fielding effort from Karachi Kings captain. However, he could not replicate his form with the bat as he was eventually dismissed at a score of 8 during the run-chase. Following his wicket, his side got into trouble as they faced the prospect of 5th consecutive defeat of the season.
