Kieron Pollard is undoubtedly one of the most explosive cricketers in the history of Indian Premier League. The 33-year-old is someone who never shies away from taking on the best bowlers in the world, that's how much he believes in his skills and abilities. The MI all-rounder did the same when he was up against the most expensive IPL player ever bought in auction, Chris Morris. The fierce battle between the two of them in Delhi was entertaining, terrifying and hilarious at the same time for the fans.

Pollard vs Morris

With MI needing 25 runs in last 3 overs, the game was almost done and dusted and RR needed an extremely good over from someone. Hence, skipper Sanju Samson decided to bring back their strike bowler Chris Morris into the attack. Pollard, who hasn't had a great tournament with the bat so far, showed no signs of nervousness as he stood tall to smash a six and four off the first two deliveries to absolutely destroy any RR hopes.

The South African pacer was certainly disappointed with himself as he bowled a lethal bouncer as the follow-up delivery. Pollard was certainly not expecting that as he tried to duck but the ball struck the helmet, leaving everyone quite scared for a moment. However, it was the reaction of Pollard that won the hearts of fans despite such a terrifying blow. As the ball bounced off his helmet and trickled down the fine-leg region, the 33-year-old was seen hilariously waving towards the ball as it was going towards the boundary.

There was no love lost between two supremely talented cricketers as they shared a fist bump. The medical team also came out on the field to check on Pollard as per concussion protocols, who was fortunately fine to continue. The MI all-rounder went on to stay till the end and sealed the game for his side with a boundary.
