After leading Roma to their first European championship in 61 years by winning the UEFA Europa Conference League last year, Jose Mourinho's men have qualified for the Europa League quarter-finals following their 2-0 aggregate win over Spanish side Real Sociedad in the Round of 16. Ahead of their second led tie at the Reale Arena  on Thursday night, Real Sociedad fans group attacked a bus of Roma ultras as the video surfaced on social media.

One day after the serious clashes between the Napoli, Eintracht Frankfurt ultras and Police in Naples ahead of their UCL Round of 16 fixture, another incident has surfaced involving the Serie A fans around Europe. Frankfurt fans were joined by Napoli-rivals Atlanta fans outside the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to fight the Napolitans.

The videos of  Real Sociedad ultras group RSF Firm attacking a bus of Roma fans outside the Reale Arena has gone viral on social media. The video showed a bus of Giallorossi fans attacked by many hooded people that allegedly belong to the RSF Firm.

Fans hurled flares on streets before the match and local police, the Guardia Civil, helped contain the fights.  According to ForzRoma.info, at least two Roma fans were arrested, plus others of Real Sociedad.

Talking about the game, Roma held Real Sociedad, who created a lot of chances throughout the match, at a goalless draw to qualify for the UEL quarter-finals on the 2-0 aggregate score. Real Sociedad forward Carlos Fernandez was sent off after getting a second yellow in the 90+8th minute into the game.

With their win over the Spanish side, Roma joined the likes of Manchester United, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting CP, Sevilla, Feyenoord and Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEL 2022-23 Quarter-Finals, taking place from April 13.
