Prince Yadav picked up his maiden T20I wicket in his T20I debut for India against Ireland in the series finale. Prince Yadav opened his wicket-taking account for India and this could be the first of many.

India were off to a fine start with the ball as they picked up some crucial wickets from the Ireland batting unit. Harshit Rana drew first blood in the encounter with the wicket of Tim Tector and that set the tone for India’s pace bowling attack. The Indian pacer hailing from Delhi showcased his talent in the IPL for the struggling Lucknow Super Giants with some memorable spells. Prince Yadav has carried forward the momentum he generated in his T20I debut against Ireland as well.

He picked up the all important wicket of Lorcan Tucker to end the hopes of the Ireland fans. Ian Bishop tweeted on X appreciating him for his first wicket and that he hopes that the pacer has a solid career. The former West Indies cricketer and commentator was all praises for Prince Yadav during his tenure at the Lucknow Super Giants as well.

 

India would be keen on restricting Ireland to a total below 160 in this game to have a higher chance of chasing down the total. The visitors lost the first game of the series in a historic match and that has thrown the Indian side under the bus. India’s bowling in the first innings of the game was good as they hit the right lengths, keeping the Ireland batters under pressure.
