
Krafton India announced the second edition of the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) on Monday, September 8. The BMSD 2025 will take place from 18 September to 12 October, featuring a total of 48 teams. The Grand Finals of the tournament will take place offline in Hyderabad. Additionally, the winner of the tournament will qualify for the highly anticipated PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025. BMSD 2025: Dates, Format, and More
The highly anticipated BMSD 2025 will be played from 18 September to 12 October. A total of 48 teams from BGIS, BMPS & approved third-party tournaments will clash in a high-intensity studio format competition. The finals for BMSD, to be held on October 10–12, 2025, will offer fans a limited live-studio experience.
The tournament will take place in two phases - online and offline. The league stage will be played online, featuring 48 teams, while the BMSD 2025 Grand Finals will be an offline LAN event at Tesseract Arena, Hyderabad. The total prize pool of the event is INR 1 Crore.
PMGC 2025 and BGMI International Cup 2025 Slots
The winner of the BGMI Showdown 2025 will directly qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025, while the top 8 teams will secure their place in the BGMI International Cup 2025.
The PMGC 2025 will take place from 24 November to 14 December in Thailand. A total of 40 teams from all around the world will compete for the prestigious title.
The top 8 teams from the BMSD 2025 Grand Finals will qualify for the highly anticipated BGMI International Cup 2025. The BMIC 2025 will take place from 31 October to 2 November, featuring the top 8 teams from the BGMI Showdown competing against 8 elite international contenders from Korea and Japan. The top 2 teams from the BGMI International Cup 2025 will qualify for the PMGC 2025.
