Krafton India Esports is set to host the two major tournaments in H2 of 2025, meaning from September to December. KIE hosted two major tournaments, BGIS 2025 in Kolkata and BMPS 2025 in Delhi, in H1. Additionally, the one major news for the fans is that the winner of the one tournament will represent India in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025, which is happening in November-December in Thailand.
Krafton India to host 2 major BGMI tournaments in H2 2025
Sports Tiger confirmed that Krafton India Esports will host two major tournaments in H2 of 2025. The tournament names have not been revealed yet, but one of them might be BGMI Showdown 2025, which last happened in 2022. The first tournament could take place between mid-September and October, while the second might be played between November and December.
Earlier, Krafton confirmed the cancellation of the much-awaited BGMI Franchise League 2025 due to unfavorable circumstances, but now they have come up with two major tournaments that will happen from September to December 2025.
In 2025, Krafton India hosted the two major tournaments Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGIS) 202,5 from January to April, and the Grand Finals were played in Kolkata, where Team Versatile emerged as champions. The second tournament, Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, was played from May to July. The Grand Finals happened in New Delhi, where Team Aryan x TMG won and also represented India in the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
India to compete in PMGC 2025
Sports Tiger also confirms that the winner of one of the two tournaments will represent India in the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Championship, aka PMGC 2025. Mostly, the winner of the first tournament will travel to Thailand for PMGC 2025, which will be played from November to December.
