The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 (PMWC 2026) has officially ended, with Turkey’s S2G Esports becoming the new world champions. The team finished the Grand Finals with 154 points and survived a very close championship battle against NS RedForce, Aurora Gaming and eArena. S2G also won $500,000 from the $1.7 million prize pool and received 130 PMGC points.

S2G Esports Win PMWC 2026

The final day was played under the Smash Rule, which made the championship race more exciting. S2G had chances to win the title with a Chicken Dinner but failed to close the tournament early.

In the last match, GodLike Esports eliminated S2G, meaning S2G had to watch the rest of the game and hope their rivals did not overtake them. NS RedForce, Aurora Gaming and eArena were eventually eliminated, confirming S2G as champions.

GodLike and Orangutan Final Standings

India had two teams in the PMWC 2026 Grand Finals. GodLike Esports finished 13th with 84 points, while Orangutan ended in 15th place with 76 points.

GodLike had several strong moments during the tournament, including a huge 20-finish Chicken Dinner. Spower also produced an impressive 1v4 clutch and was named the Best Grenadier of the PMWC 2026 Grand Finals with nine grenade eliminations.

Orangutan also showed their fighting ability despite finishing near the bottom. Wizzgod registered a 1v4 against FURIA, while AKOP produced a 1v3 against ULF Esports in the final match.

Both Indian teams may not have achieved the Grand Finals result they wanted, but reaching the World Cup final itself was a major achievement.

Meanwhile, Tianba’s Qzz was named Finals MVP with 35 eliminations, while Aurora Gaming’s DOK received the Best IGL award.

With PMWC 2026 now complete, attention will next turn towards the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026, which is scheduled to take place later this year.
