Aaron Finch played for nine franchises during his during his 12-year IPL career
Former Australia captain Aaron Finch was active in IPL from 2010 to 2022 and during these 12 years, he served nine teams. Back in 2010, he made his debut for Rajasthan Royals (RR) but in the next few years, he went on to serve successful sides such as Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He was also part of defunct Gujarat Lions (GL), who were a part of the league for a couple of seasons (2016 and 2017).
Rashid Khan and Alzarri Joseph hold the record of highest IPL partnership for the ninth wicket against MI in 2023
In 2023, Rashid Khan and Alzarri Joseph stitched an unbeaten 88-run stand while playing for Gujarat Titans (GT) against MI at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Chasing a massive score of 219 runs, Gujarat lost eight wickets at a score of 103 in 13.2. The hosts were heading towards a massive win but Rashid showcased his batting mettle and narrowed the margin of defeat with his unbeaten 79 off 32. This was the most successful IPL partnership for the ninth wicket.

On April 9, 2023, Rinku Singh hit five maximums in the last over of the game between KKR and GT at the Narendra Modi Stadium and guided his side to a three-wicket win in the last-ball thriller. Following the gigantic target of 205, Kolkata required 29 off the last over but the southpaw didn’t lose hope and dealt in boundaries against pacer Yash Dayal to pull off the task with valiance.
Mike Hussey's only IPL ton in 2008 included nine maximums
In 2008, when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played their maiden IPL game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mohali, Mike Hussey stood tall with his bat and scored an unbeaten 116 off 54. His exceptional knock included nine maximums. Riding on the Aussie’s ton, CSK bagged a convincing 33-run triumph. This was Hussey’s only century in IPL.
