British journalist and TV personality Piers Morgan is once again making the news after his Twitter account sends out abusive tweets and personal chats on the internet. However, it was later revealed that Morgan’s Twitter account was hacked and hence the information was leaked. The tweets were about the late Queen Elizabeth II and popstar Ed Sheeran, while a chat with English Tennis star Andy Murray also surfaced where the pair was discussing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Piers Morgan and Murray were discussing the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, where Lionel Messi’s Argentina won by defeating France in the final. In the chat, the former Wimbledon winner was mocking Morgan for his support towards Ronaldo referring to Messi’s win.
Morgan has openly expressed that he is a massive Cristiano Ronaldo fan and considers the Portugal international as the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT). During the World Cup, Morgan was supporting Ronaldo, who was knocked out in the quarterfinal. So in the chat with Murry, he stated how he felt sympathy for Ronaldo, especially after Messi won the tournament. Morgan has texted, “Can’t imagine how Ronaldo must be feeling.”
Going back to the leaked tweets, abusive messages towards the late Queen of England were sent by Morgan’s account. One tweet read: “f*** the queen". Similarly, there were other messages directed at Ed Sheeran. The account name was also changed multiple times to “Michael" and “lol".
One of the other tweets was targeted towards the internet sensation Andrew Tate, where Morgan’s account stated that Tate was shot dead in Dubai. The tweet said, “BREAKING NEWS: Andrew Tate has been shot dead in Dubai.”
