With the key players all set to leave for the UK for the upcoming WTC final and England series, BCCI has listed the probable players that might travel to Sri Lanka for the limited-overs series later in July. The two neighbouring countries are set to play ODI and T20I series, starting July 13.

Dhawan to lead the side, Iyer’s inclusion doubtful

In the latest update, Shikhar Dhawan being one of the senior players will lead the Men in Blue in the series. With Hardik Pandya missing out on the UK tour, the allrounder is likely to be included in the limited-overs squad. However, Shreyas Iyer, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, is doubtful for the tour. Meanwhile, youngster Devdutt Padikkal is likely to get his maiden national call-up.

Shikhar Dhawan (C), Prithvi Shaw, Devdutt Padikkal, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Tewatia, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Jaydev Unadkat, Navdeep Saini, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak and Rahul Chahar, Shreyas Iyer (depending on fitness).
