The Eliteserien 2022 is the 78th season of the Norwegian top-flight football tournament. This year’s contest started on 2 April and is scheduled to end on 13 November 2022, not including play-off matches. This is the sixth season of Eliteserien after rebranding from Tippeligaen.
Bodø/Glimt are the defending champions, but this season Molde has been leading the league to possibly win their fifth Eliteserien title. HamKam, Aalesund and Jerv were the teams' promoted clubs from the 2021 Norwegian First Division and could remain in the top flight barring Jerv who still is at the bottom of the league.
The Champions of the Eliteserien will get a chance to compete in the Champions League second qualifying round whereas the other two teams in the top three will qualify for the Europa Conference League second qualifying round.
