Among many shocking revelations made by the Chairman of the All-Indian Senior Selection Committee, Chetan Sharma has claimed that five selectors run the cricket in India and they are the ones who decide the future and present of the Indian cricket team.

In an explosive sting operation carried out by Zee Media, Chetan Sharma claimed that Rohit Sharma only talks with him for 30 minutes on phone, and players like Hardik Pandya, Umesh Yadav, and Deepak Hooda visit him at his house.

“You need to be in the good books of selectors. Rohit calls me and talks to me for 30 minutes. Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Umesh Yadav visit me. We (five selectors) run cricket in India. We decide who will play or who will not,” said Chetan Sharma.
Chetan Sharma further claimed that Hardik Pandya is the future of Indian cricket and Rohit Sharma might not feature in the T20I set-up. " Hardik Pandya would take over as captain in the long run and Rohit Sharma would no longer be a part of the T20I setup. I brought in the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Shubman Gill, and other 15-20 players in the team," he said.
