Zanai Bhosle, 23, who is the granddaughter of legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle, got embroiled in a dating rumour with Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj after a cosy picture of them went viral on Instagram from her birthday. The frenzy among their followers on social media led to both Mohammed Siraj and Zanai Bhosle addressing the dating rumour indirectly, calling each other brother and sister, which put an end to the speculation once and for all.
Notably, just four days ago, Zanai Bhosle celebrated her 23rd birthday in style, and the party was attended by her grandmother Asha Bhosle among many Bollywood stars like Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, while apart from Mohammed Siraj, a few other cricketers in attendance were Suyash Prabhudessai, Siddhesh Lad, and Shreyas Iyer. She took to her official Instagram account to share candid photos from the party, including one with Mohammed Siraj, and wrote, “23’ done right,” followed by blue heart and sparkle emojis.

But with the social media making it sound like something it wasn’t, jumping to conclusions about a dating rumour involving Zanai Bhosle and Mohammed Siraj, they cleared the air without officially recognising the speculation. She re-shared the cosy picture of herself and Mohammed Siraj on Instagram, stating, “Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother),” followed by sparkle and flower emojis, to which the Indian fast bowler responded as well.
Mohammed Siraj reposted it with a caption, which read, “Meri behna ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein. Meri behna hai ek hazaaron mein (There is no one like my sister. I don't want to stay anywhere without her. My sister is one of a kind like the moon and stars).” Zanai Bhosle reposted the post from the Indian fast bowler with three red heart emojis.
Moreover, Mohammed Siraj isn’t having a good time of it in cricket, losing his spot in the Indian ODI team ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played in Pakistan and the UAE.
