Marcos Gaming, one of the leading esports organizations in India has unveiled its CS: GO roster for the upcoming Skyesports Masters tournament, where it will be competing for a share of the INR 2,00,00,000 prize pool.
The roster consists of the players including, Ritesh 'DEFAULTER' Sarda, Hamid ‘GHOST’ Chaudhary, Shuvajyoti 'Mcg!LLzZz' Chakraborty, Dibyalok 'ZEROCOOL' Goswami, Sadanand 'R! der' Dey, and Sagnik ‘DOPPLERM ‘ Roy. Marcos Gaming announced its roster on Twitter and wrote, “Revealing First Roster Under MARCOS GAMING 2.0 . Welcome Our CSGO Boys and we hope this new addition will take Marcos on the next level. Congratulations and Welcome to Marcos Family.”
Marcos Gaming is also set to add two more players from the cafe qualifiers, which are happening across 20 different cities in India to scout for grassroots talent. Marcos Gaming was confirmed as a franchise team for Skyesports Masters joining seven other teams: Revenant Esports, Gods Reign, 7Sea Esports, Medal Esports, Reckoning Esports, Team Mahi, and Global Esports.
Skyesports Masters is India's first franchised esports league for CS: GO and aims to revive the game in the country. The league stage will start on July 8 and is set to feature eight teams playing in a round-robin format. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held as a LAN event on August 26 and 27.
