Amidst the ongoing IPL 2025, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is coming back with its 10th edition starting on April 11. This will also be the first time when both the league will be played in the same leg. Ahead of the upcoming season, Karachi Kings pacer Hasan Ali claimed that the fans will stop watching IPL after the start of PSL.

Hasan Ali heaped praise on the Pakistan cricket fans for their passion for the game and promised to make them proud with his performance in the upcoming PSL. Speaking further, Ali also claimed that the fans will shift to PSL from IPL if they play well. "Our people love cricket, and the fans are very emotional. We will try our best to make them happy with our performances. Fans watch the tournament where there's good cricket with entertainment. If we play well in the PSL, viewers will leave the IPL to watch us,” Hasan Ali was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.

The upcoming PSL is also going to be an important for Hasan Ali who is looking to make a comeback in Pakistan’s national side. The fast bowler said that he will be looking to continue his form from the National T20 Cup. Ali last played for Pakistan in January 2024 and hoping for a memorable season in PSL 2025 to don the national jersey again.

"Performing in the PSL grabs the attention of selectors and management — there's no doubt about that. I recently performed well in the National T20 Cup and will try to keep that momentum. This PSL is important for me as I aim to make a comeback to the national team and as Karachi Kings team, we will do our best to bring Karachi cricket fans back to the stadium,” Hasan Ali said.
