Ravichandran Ashwin has a cricketing brain as the India off-spinner is known for his on-field tactics. But Ashwin’s mastery is not limited to bowling batters out. The off-spinner is equally good at giving it back to his trolls. There have been numerous instances where Ashwin has completely owned a troll and the Indian star off-spinner was at it yet again on Wednesday (30 November).
As India and New Zealand are squaring off in a three-match ODI series and Ashwin is currently not playing any form of cricket, the off-spinner is among the spectators these days. Ashwin is also enjoying the banter between the commentators, as the Indian star shared his feeling on Twitter.
“Quality banter from Stephen Fleming, @kartikmurali and @ImZaheer. Flem talking about flat wickets when india come for a series to NZ and our boys reminding him about the 2002 series where Dan Vettori dint bowl a single over,” tweeted Ashwin.
This attracted quite a few reactions from the fans as well. While some remembered the events with Ashwin, a few requested him to don the commentator’s hat once he is done playing cricket. Meanwhile, a Rohit Sharma fan tried to sledge Ashwin. The guy tried to humiliate Ashwin by asking him for a plate of “Idli Sambhar”. Meanwhile, the off-spinner was ready with a savage response. Ashwin asked the Rohit Sharma fan that would he prefer a Vada instead.
