Karel "Twisten" Aenbrener, a Czech Valorant pro, has passed away at the age of 19, according to Team Vitality, the esports organisation he was affiliated with. Twisten has competed in a number of prestigious international leagues with Valorant, including the EMEA League most recently. As soon as word of his passing spread, the official Valorant account posted, “Our deepest condolences to his loved ones. Rest in peace.." The exact reason for death is not yet known. Twisten's esports career officially began in 2020 when he joined the Czech stack Kings of Sosnovka, a group that participated in early Valorant competitions in a number of European tournaments. The young professional athlete joined BIG in late 2021 and competed on the VCT EMEA Challengers circuit for the entire 2022 season.

The following offseason, Twisten joined French esports group Team Vitality, a group that had been accepted into Riot Games' partnership programme for the VCT 2023 season. In the first VCT EMEA League, he predominantly played duelist, frequently selecting Jett and Raze, and he assisted Team Vitality in placing fifth or sixth.
