India and Pakistan is underway and when the two teams take on each other, some drama is assured. The battle at Melbourne is getting intense with every passing ball. India started the match on a high, by sending back two of their most important batters, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan early in the innings. Arshdeep Singh was the man in action for India.
However, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood formed a half-century partnership for the third wicket to bail the team out of trouble. Ahmed departed shortly after scoring a half-century (51 off 34). Pakistan then lost Shadab Khan as well who was sent in to up the ante. Then came Mohammad Nawaz to aid Masood who was playing the anchor.
Amid all these little battles, spider camera spoiled a moment for India as they lost a potential chance to dismiss Mohammad Nawaz. In the 15th over of Pakistan's innings, Nawaz tried to take on R Ashwin as he danced down the pitch and heaved across. However, he could only manage a thick outside edge and the ball went off. Virat Kohli was settling himself under the ball to hand India another wicket.
But the spider cam came in the middle and the ball got deflected. Thai irked the Indian camp as Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin and Hardik Pandya were visibly upset.
