With the ODI World Cup 2023 nearing, in a big update, the International Cricket Council has asked BCCI to prepare batting friendly pitches. As reported, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have been asked to provide a 60-40 pitch conducive to batting.  Also, just ahead of the Asia Cup, a good news surfaces as KL Rahul resumed wicketkeeping on Saturday.

India is set to host the forthcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023 from October 5, where the season opener will be a rematch of the 2019 WC final.   However, before the tournament, the hosts have reportedly been directed to prepare more batting-friendly pitches. 

According to reports by the Hindustan Times, the international regulating body has passed clear instructions to the hosts for pitch curation. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have been asked to provide a 60-40 pitch conducive to batting.
