In the end, Kolkata were certainly on top but Karan Sharma's 20 in seven balls with three sixes nearly turned the game for RCB, however, KKR bowlers managed to clinch the win.

Last year's runners-up Gujarat Titans registered a comfortable three-wicket win over Shikhar Dhawan-less Punjab Kings. Then in the second innings, the Titans took their time and chased the total in 19.1 overs with Rahul Tewatia remaining not out at 35.
