West Indies defeated India by two wickets in the second T20I at Providence Stadium, Guyana and have currently taken 2-0 lead in five-match T20I series. Brilliant bowling display from Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd helped the hosts restrict India for an average total of 152/7 in 20 overs despite a solid fifty from Tilak Varma.
West Indies in the run-chase, however, managed to chase down 153 runs comfortably despite losing 8 wickets with the help of destructive knock from Nicholas Pooran at number four. Indian skipper Hardik Pandya tried his best to ensure India win this game by picking two wickets in first over of the game, but his effort ended in vain as West Indies managed to chase down 153 runs at the end.
