The IPL 2023 opener kick started with the bang on March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. After Hardik Pandya won the toss, he invited MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings to at first. However, after Mohammed Shami drew the first blood for the hosts Gujarat Titans in the third over, Rashid Khan took back-to-back wickets in his two overs. On the fourth delivery of the eighth over, Ben Stokes had an edge. Wriddhiman Saha, who is keeping the wickets for Gujarat Titans, took a brilliant catch to dismiss the England all-rounder who is making his CSK debut.
