Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) speedster Yash Dayal has hit the headlines for another wrong reason. Within a month, another girl stepped up and alleged that the cricketer made a promise to her that he will assist her in building a career in professional cricket. Earlier this month, Dayal was booked in a case for alleged sexual exploitation under the pretext of marriage. A Ghaziabad-based woman asserted that she was in a five-year relationship with the cricketer. The complaint was submitted against him on June 21 via the Chief Minister's online grievance portal (IGRS).

The latest case is based in Jaipur and as per the girl, under the pretext of helping her, the 27-year-old player blackmailed and sexually harassed her for two years. According to Dainik Bhaskar, the girl has also added that she was a teenager a couple of years back when the speedster promised to help her. The Dainik Bhaskar report also added that Yash called the girl to a hotel in Sitapura during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and raped her again. Frustrated by the continuous emotional blackmail and exploitation, she registered a complaint on July 22. As the teenager has alleged that she was 17 when Dayal raped her, the case has been lodged under the POCSO act. If the complaints are corroborated, the cricketer might face a minimum of 10 years of imprisonment, which can extend to life imprisonment, with a penalty.

Yash Dayal’s last tournament in cricket was IPL 2025

Yash Dayal’s last tournament was the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for RCB. In Challengers’ maiden title win, he chipped in with 13 wickets in 15 matches at an economy of 9.59. In the final against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Ahmedabad, he bowled a frugal three-over spell and registered 1/18 figures.

In connection with the complaint regarding allegedly exploiting a woman for five years, a bench of Justice Siddharth Varma and Anil Kumar in the Allahabad High Court earlier stayed Dayal’s arrest and granted him the relief until the next date of hearing.
