After two months of action, the IPL 2025 has reached its final day as Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings will take on each other in the title clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. Initially, the final was scheduled to take place in Kolkata on May 25. However, the situation between India and Pakistan at the border raised concerns and the tournament was suspended for 10 days to ensure safety of the players.
Now, as IPL 2025 is bidding adieu, the fans will not only get the cricketing action on the final day, but there will also be a closing ceremony ahead of the game featuring some of the big names from the Bollywood industry.
Shankar Mahadevan to pay tribute to Indian Armed Forces
The main highlight of the IPL 2025 closing will be the performance by Shankar Mahadevan, a renowned Indian singer and composer. His performance is going to be special as it will be a tribute to the Indian Armed Forces for Operation Sindoor. In his performance, Shankar will also pay respect to the martyrs of the tragic Pahalgam attack which will add a patriotic and emotional touch to the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony of IPL 2025 is set to take place on June 3 ahead of the contest between RCB and PBKS.
The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM (IST) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
