Royal Challengers Bengaluru fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is likely to miss the remaining season of IPL 2025. The tournament was suspended for one week on May 9 due to the tensions between India and Pakistan at the border. Now, the BCCI is planning to resume the IPL soon with 16 matches remaining for the completion of the ongoing season. However, Hazlewood is unlikely to continue for the remainder of the season due to shoulder niggle as reported by ESPN Cricinfo.

Notably, Josh Hazlewood is among of the leading wicket takers of IPL 2025 with 18 scalps in 10 matches so far. However, he wasn’t included in RCB playing XI in their last game against Chennai Super Kings at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 3. Hazlewood was also doubtful for RCB’s next fixture against Lucknow Super Giants which was earlier scheduled to take place on May 9 before the tournament got suspended.
