Manchester United suffered a major blow ahead of their Premier League fixture against Tottenham on February 16. Their star midfielder Kobbie Mainoo sustained a niggle ahead of the upcoming match, due to which he is likely to be sidelined for two to three weeks, as reported by Laurie Whitwell, a renowned journalist from United Kingdoms (UK). Also, this is not the first injury setback that the United have got this week.

Notably, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are doubtful for the upcoming Premier League clash against Tottenham after sustaining injuries during the training this week. This means that Manchester United will go without their star midfield trio including the likes of Kobbie, Ugarte and Collyer. Manchester United aren’t having a great season in the ongoing Premier League as they are currently standing in 14th position at the points table with just eight wins in 24 matches so far. Apart from that, they are also going without their key players in the upcoming clash against Tottenham.

We have the same problems: Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim ahead of clash against Tottenham

As Manchester United are currently dealing with injuries, they will face the 15th place Tottenham in their upcoming Premier League. Speaking ahead of the fixture, United manager Ruben Amorim said that both teams are currently having a same problem in the ongoing season. He also said that United are from different cultures and know how to deliver in their pressure situations.

“I’m a huge fan of Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham coach), of course I’m from a different culture. I’m Portuguese and all the Portuguese coaches can adapt. We have the same problems. In my opinion, with all due respect, I am in a bigger club with bigger pressure so I understand the pressure and I think it’s important for the coach to follow all of these principles,” Amorim was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.
