Rajasthan Royals registered their third win of the ongoing season, beating MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings by three runs in a close match. After being invited to bat first, the Sanju Samson-led side posted 175 in their 20 overs, courtesy Jos Buttler’s 36-ball 52.

Although at one point of time where the match looked to slip away from RR’s hands, some restricted bowling got back the side in the game. However, there wasn’t much drama also in the match, but a moment saw Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin get involved in a banter with Ajinkya Rahane.
The incident took place in the last over of the powerplay. On the second ball of the sixth over, the Indian off spinner aborted his delivery at the very last moment. On the next delivery, Rahane who was at strike backed away, with both sharing some looks.
However, the next delivery saw Rahane smash Ashwin for a six over the covers to bring the drama to rest.

While the four-time champions will now face Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnawamy Stadium on April 17, the Sanju Samson-led side will play against the defending champions at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 16.
