In the crucial game, India lost their first wicket in the form of opener Pratika Rawal, who fell against Emily Arlott in the second over of the match. Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol strove to stabilise India’s innings but the latter failed to counter the Sophie Ecclestone challenge.
