Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has supported India’s latest action against terrorist outfits based in Pakistan. On April 22, 26 people lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The victims went to the valley as tourists with their family but their campaign turned horrendous as they lost their precious lives to terrorists. Following the incident, Indian citizens were demanding their government to take stiff action against the perpetrators and deliver justice to the families. After 14 days of the gruesome event, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and took revenge with a strike on terrorist organisations based in Pakistan. In the morning of May 7, India’s Ministry of Defence revealed the details of the incident.

Following India’s admission of the strike, former Indian opener Sachin Tendulkar took to X and supported the country’s stern resolve against terrorism. The 52-year-old wrote, “Fearless in unity. Boundless in strength. India’s shield is her people. There’s no room for terrorism in this world. We’re ONE TEAM! Jai Hind. #OperationSindoor”.

Former Indian players show support to Operation Sindoor

Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan took to X and commended India’s courageous action against terror. He wrote, “India takes a stand against terrorism. Bharat Mata ki jai!”

Virender Sehwag also appreciated Operation Sindoor and wrote some good lines on X. “Agar koi aap par patthar phenke toh uspar Phool Phenko, lekin gamle ke saath. Jai Hind. #OperationSindoor, what an apt name,” read Sehwag’s X post.

Former India Women’s captain Jhulan Goswami also hailed India’s punishment delivered to terrorism and wrote, “Precision. Purpose. Power. That’s how India answers. #OperationSindoor.”
