Ambati Rayudu is a former Indian International cricketer who was a formidable force in the middle-order of the Indian Cricket Team. The 39-year-old is continuing with his love for the sport beyond his playing career as he is now a Cricket commentator. The wicket-keeper has played 61 limited overs matches for the India national cricket team between 2013 and 2019. Rayudu is one of the players to have played in the most successful IPL franchises Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Rayudu has also achieved a rare milestone by becoming one of the two players in history to have won the IPL trophy six times during his career alongside the Hitman Rohit Sharma. Ambati Rayudu is also an active politician in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Recently, amidst the test series of India versus England, Rayudu was asked to blind rank the best Indian captains in a position till from 1 to 10. Rayudu’s choices created immense buzz on the social media as some of the big names who were expected in the top 3 were left out of it. Rayudu ranked MS Dhoni on the top of the list.

Rohit Sharma took the second spot in the list and the ‘Dada of Indian Cricket, Sourav Ganguly took the third places as Rayudu believed that he brought a huge transformation in the way that the team played.

The first world cup winning captain of India in the year 1983 took the third spot in the rankings due to his phenomenal captaincy and contribution to India Cricket. Virat Kohli was ranked at the fifth position which was unexpected as Rayudu expressed his opinion that the Ranking of Virat Kohli depends on a particular format of the game. Another Indian cricketing legend Mohammad Azharuddin took the sixth spot in the rankings.
