Popular streamer IShow Speed got ignored by Argentine Football star Lionel Messi during the second game of the FIFA Club World Cup between Inter Miami and Al Ahly at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on June 15. Speed is known as one of the great admirer of Portuguese Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and has rate him above Messi several times during his live streamings and other videos.
Notably, there has been a debate for a long time about who is the greatest footballer among Messi and Ronaldo as the two have established themselves as global icons of the sport over the years. This was also Messi’s debut game at the FIFA Club World Cup as his Inter Miami took on Al Ahly in the opening game of the tournament. The match ended in a goalless draw with Messi almost scoring with the free kick that went on to hit the crossbar.
Lionel Messi’s gesture leaves IShow Speed at loss of words
When Lionel Messi entered the Hard Rock Stadium, he greeted former Brazilian footballer Pepe at the entrance. Notably, IShow Speed was also standing just behind Pepe and also called out Messi’s name. However, the Argentine forwards didn’t bother to even look at the streamer and walked away simply by ignoring. Watching this reaction from Messi, Speed was also at the loss of words and was left there hanging for a few seconds. “"Bro, chat, was that just Messi? Was that just Messi? Bro! No way I just missed Messi! Ain't no way!" Speed said in a video.
Speed also shared a video of the incident on his Instagram with a caption “messi aired me.” His post got some hilarious replies from the fans in the comments section. One user wrote “Messi 100% knows who you are,” while the other wrote, “Imagine hating messi all out and still expecting a handshake.” Apart from that, there were also several reactions by the fans.
